We have an opportunity for you to join Samsung Electronics Australia as our National Account Manager in the Mobile Experience (MX) carrier sales team.
In this role, you will manage the relationship with one of our major telco account partners and be responsible for how Samsung propositions are designed, displayed, promoted and sold.

Role and Responsibilities

Account Management & Planning

  • Manage channel performance, sales strategies, execution of programs and tactical initiatives to drive revenue (sell-in, sell-out) and market share of your respective categories (tablets, wearables and accessories)

  • Implement strategic account plans to grow new categories

  • Manage regular forecasting, inventory management and reporting

  • Manage performance tracking, reporting and formulation of incentives

Retail Execution

  • Implement training plans for retail sales force to educate and build awareness of Samsung brand/products

  • Develop and execute strategic channel plans with retail programs including co-marketing, promotional activity, sales rep training education and in store brand presence

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a National Account Manager, ideally within the telco industry

  • Ability to achieve sales targets within set deadlines

  • Ability to toggle between strategic and detail-orientated thinking

  • Strong presentation, negotiation, influencing and selling skills

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-centric mindset and passion for innovation

The nature of this role and level of responsibility may require reasonable additional hours over and above 37.5 hours per week and may also require work outside of ordinary hours.
