As a National Account Manager for Coles at Haleon, you’ll take ownership of the Coles partnership, shaping category growth, driving commercial results, and ensuring our leading health brands are front of mind for Australian shoppers. You’ll develop and execute customer plans, deliver profitable sales growth, and build collaborative, long-term relationships with Coles stakeholders. Your expertise will help us deliver better everyday health outcomes, while making Haleon the preferred partner in the category.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow revenue and margin: Own net sales targets for Coles and manage trade investment within budget, backed by rigorous ROI analysis.
- Win at shelf: Maximise range, distribution and NPD execution across all relevant categories, aligned to forecasted launch plans.
- Plan and execute: Lead promotional plans in line with category strategy and Haleon guidelines; run category/business reviews with the customer.
- Co-create JBPs: Build joint business plans and growth initiatives with Coles; ensure consistent execution of trading terms and discounts.
- Own customer relationships: Be the day-to-day ‘go-to’ for Coles stakeholders; coordinate field/market visits and drive action from insights.
- Operate with excellence: Manage claims and POS needs; provide timely competitor and promo feedback to brand and sales teams.
What you’ll bring
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn insights into action across cross-functional teams.
- Account management & negotiation capability and understanding of the Australian retail market and category dynamics.
- High proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint and confident delivery of business & category reviews.
- Previous account management experience within, FMCG or Pharmacy experience
- Relationship builder who embodies Haleon values and can collaborate with customer and internal stakeholders.
