About the Role

We have two contract opportunities for National Commercial Managers to join us at GSK.

The National Commercial Managers will be networking across key hospitals, leading business development and negotiating opportunities for a broad range of products across the GSK portfolio.  Reporting into the National Business Development and Tenders Manager; the National Commercial Managers can be based remotely in Australia, with regular inter-state travel. 

Your role will be varied and will include:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders and decision-makers in the healthcare sector
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the state health and hospital sector
  • Conducting thorough market research to understand trends, competitors, and customer needs
  • Lead negotiations with states health departments, state and private hospitals
  • Build strong relationships cross-functionally, across all internal stakeholders
  • Ensure that all business activities and interactions adhere to relevant pharmaceutical regulations, industry standards, and ethical guidelines

About you?

To be successful in the role, you are a strategic thinker, a relationship builder and have a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical (or related) industry

You will also have:

  • Previous relevant commercial management experience or similar background in pharma
  • Bachelors or higher degree in the pharmacy, health science, business, economics or related discipline
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with senior leaders
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations and market dynamics
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in negotiating commercial agreements
  • Superior senior stakeholder engagement and ability to build new relationships
