As the National Manager Group Communications, you will shape and execute impactful communication strategies that amplify our brand, reputation, and market presence. Leading internal and external communications, you'll ensure every message aligns with our values and objectives. We're seeking a strategic visionary with a proven track record in financial communications, exceptional leadership skills, and the drive to inspire a high-performing team. This is a full-time role, based in our Sydney office location.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a robust communications strategy that supports the company's business goals and enhances its reputation in the financial services industry. 
  • Lead and develop a high performing communications team.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across all communication channels. 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends and news to identify opportunities for proactive and reactive communications strategies. 
  • Manage crisis communications and develop strategies to mitigate reputational risks. 
  • Ownership of corporate social media channels including policy, quality assurance and controls.
  • In collaboration with Head of Group Marketing & Comms and Head of Investor Relations manage and deliver HUB24 Group Corporate Communications including quarterly ASX releases, half year and full year investor presentations and Sustainability reports including managing stakeholder inputs, drafting assets for review and managing approvals.
  • In collaboration with Head of Investor Relations manage and deliver CEO & CFO analyst and industry presentations and messaging.

What you'll need:

  • A minimum of 8 years experience in internal and external communications within an ASX-listed company (Financial services experience is preferred but not essential)
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field.
  • Understanding of corporate disclosure requirements.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. 
  • Experience in crisis communications and issues management. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively. 
  • Proficiency in digital and social media platforms. 
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organisational and project management skills. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
