This role will accelerate growth of Advanced Wound Management (AWM) products in the Hospital channel by leading a team of Complex Territory Managers.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop strong relationships with surgeons, nurses and key clinical decision makers.  

  • Spend time in field with Territory Managers calling on focus and optimise accounts to maintain and win new business.

  • Work with Territory Managers to acquire new business in the Public and Private Hospitals.

  • Accelerate growth in Public and Private Hospitals of Focus brands.

  • Ensure that strategic plans are in place to accelerate the adoption of Quality
    Improvement Audits (QIA) by working closely with associated roles.

  • Conduct regular planning and tactic reviews with Clinical Manager AWM and Clinical Development Managers to ensure that focus and optimise accounts are receiving clinical and educational support from Smith+Nephew.

  • Recruit, develop and coach team to ensure assigned objectives are met.

  • Build and support an engaged team by maintaining a leadership focus around being an effective coach, communicator, and strategist.

  • Set sales goals and objectives for team to support budget growth.

  • Meet with Territory Managers in each region on a weekly basis either face to face or virtually.

  • Analyse regional performance and develop strategies to maximise potential on a regular basis.

  • Ensure product knowledge is current to support Territory Managers in field or
    virtually.

  • In collaboration with Sales Director AWM assess and identify market opportunities.

  • Develop business strategy and actions plans to deliver long term profitable sales growth.

  • Effectively communicate strategy, expectations, and deliverables to Territory
    Managers.

  • Develop strong cross functional relationships with key internal functions to deliver on strategy.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor’s Degree or similar in Business and a valid driver’s license

  • Strong Sales experience in medical sales

  • Proven experience in working and presenting to all levels of Public and Private Hospitals.

  • In depth knowledge of the healthcare industry in Australia, working knowledge of wound care or related area.

  • Computer proficiency in MS Office and SalesForce.com

  • Ability to interpret and present clinical data.
