What you'll do

As a Software Engineer in this established team, you'll support, build and maintain the backend development work that ensures the smooth running of our client's subscription platform. The success of this solution relies upon communicating with multiple third-party platforms used by LEAP - you'll work on backend APIs and services that communicate with LEAP and our internal systems to develop a seamless experience for our customers. You'll report to the Business Systems Manager and liaise with local staff and developers to help expand and improve our backend applications.

To make this happen, you will

  • Work beside experienced developers for all internal system backend integrations
  • Develop a solid understanding of each departments business processes
  • Requirements gathering, development and implementation of business processes
  • Maintenance of the backend and services

What you'll bring

You'll need at least 2 years of commercial experience in full-stack software development with a back-end focus, along with technical experience in:

  • .NET framework
  • MVC, Razor, JQuery, Javascript
  • Web API and micro-services
  • SQL and database development
  • AWS, in particular S3, DynamoDB, CloudSearch, Lambda

  • Has the ability to think out of the box – not all our tasks are standard so neither are the solutions

  • Is clear and concise in your verbal and written communication
