Neuroscience Account Manager - Queensland

POSITION PURPOSE
As a new Neuroscience Account Manager, you will build a strong relationship with customers across your assigned region to drive adoption of our Alzheimer's launch medicine, and meet the needs of patients with Alzheimer's disease.

Key to your success in this role will be bringing a winning mindset to every interaction. Your positive attitude and ability to engage will be key to developing meaningful customer relationships with assigned customers across the area of cognitive neurology. Demonstration of in-depth scientific and clinical expertise of your products, and the ability to operate with outstanding cross-functional skills and teamwork will be essential.

It is an expectation of this role that there will be travel to service customers across the region as well as to attend business meetings. Interstate travel will be required from time to time.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Science, Pharmacy, Business, Nursing or related discipline is essential
  • Demonstrated experience and strong success in a Specialty Sales role with similar complexity in the Pharmaceutical Industry is essential
  • Proven experience in the Neuroscience therapy area

PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OR EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years in a hospital specialist representative role in pharmaceuticals
  • Experience working alongside Neurologists and Geriatricians
  • Recent experience working in cognitive neurology and the field of Alzheimer's disease is highly desirable
