About Us: 

Our Projects and Development Services (PDS) team provide corporate and institutional clients with the management of design, construction, and relocation services to minimise risk and eliminate unnecessary cost.

Projects range from greenfield developments to major fit outs and refurbishments, from single one-off projects to state, national multi-site and regional roll-out projects requiring consistent nationwide delivery. 

As one of the largest project management firms in Australia with a team of over 320 professional staff, we operate in sectors including commercial, industrial, education, data centres, hotels, retail, and defence. 

About the role:

As the NSW Industrial Sector Lead you will be expected to take a lead role in securing and retaining new local and national work with existing and new industrial sector  occupier and landlord clients.

To develop new and strategic business opportunities through a strong local network of contacts and business relationships in the Industrial sectors.

When delivering complex projects, to accept total responsibility for the effective management of all phases of a project (or projects) from initial establishment to handover and project closure.  The project role requires coordinating thought and leadership skills to encourage maximum contributions of all participants in the specific project and focus these to maximise outcomes for all stakeholders.

As a  NSW Industrial Sector Lead , you have a responsibility as a leader to contribute to the development of less experienced colleagues through mentoring and coaching in all aspects of project management.

  • Within each project, establish and implement an effective organisation structure for reporting, communication and working procedures.
  • Lead the project team to assemble and effectively lead consultants, contractors and suppliers to achieve the best possible performance from all members of the project team.
  • Take a proactive role in delivering a successful project (s).
  • Promote JLL to new local prospects and key local landlord clients with expressed purpose of developing new business opportunities.
  • Seeking out and developing new business relationships and generating new revenue from local landlords
  • Target and generate new industrial sector clients
  • Develop relationships with other business lines with JLL including leasing, sustainability, valuations and workplace design.
  • Represent the client’s best interests from inception to completion of the project.
  • Establish and maintaining a positive client relationship.
  • Lead the project team to achieve the best possible performance from all members.

About you: 

We are looking for someone who has been working in a similar role with a degree in a relevant Project or Construction Management related discipline and fifteen (15) years’ experience in to Engineering, Construction, or Project Management.
