At Altis, we’re looking for a Senior Consultant who can combine strong technical capability, initiative, and clear communication to help clients turn complex requirements into practical, high-quality data and analytics solutions.

This is more than a technical delivery role. We’re looking for someone who can work confidently across the project lifecycle, contribute to meaningful client outcomes, and bring a thoughtful, solutions-focused approach to every engagement. In this role

In this role, you’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to design, build, and implement data and analytics solutions across a range of projects and environments.

Your role will include

• Actively contribute to the delivery of Data & Analytics projects across the full solution lifecycle
• Gather business requirements and support requirements workshops and review sessions
• Translate medium to complex requirements into effective technical solutions using appropriate methodologies and standards
• Analyse data from multiple and varied sources to support client outcomes
• Design and implement high-quality data and analytics solutions that deliver tangible business value
• Design and implement data models, database structures, data pipelines, and data stores
• Support the production implementation of developed solutions
• Plan and perform unit testing and system testing to support quality delivery
• Support User Acceptance Testing and post-production activities
• Deliver training to end users and support solution adoption
• Design and develop reports, dashboards, visualisations, and insights
• Contribute to project planning, task estimation, and effective delivery scheduling
• Manage your own work to deadlines, while supporting the work of others where required
• Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  

What you will bring

We’re looking for someone with strong foundational capability, hands-on delivery experience, and the confidence to contribute meaningfully in client environments.

You’ll likely bring:

• Experience delivering projects in a client-facing environment
• 2–5 years of broad IT experience
• 2–4 years of experience working with leading Data & Analytics tools
• Significant experience using SQL on data-focused projects
• Experience designing and delivering data and analytics solutions
• Capability across data modelling, database design, and data pipeline development
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• A tertiary qualification in an IT-related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
  

Highly Desirable 
Skills within Snowflake, Databricks or Google Cloud Platform is highly desirable.
Bonus
If you have experience coding with and implementing AI and ML solutions.
