Position: Financial Controller

Location: Based at our site in Liverpool, supporting our plant in New Zealand. Reporting to the CFO Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the month end close process - Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet management and reporting to HQ.
  • Monthly Stock reconciliation calculations and minimisation of adjustments.
  • Coordination of the full year Budgeting process.
  • Monthly and quarterly financial forecasting.
  • Business partnering with Operations/Supply Chain to drive effective cost control and support decision-making.
  • Assisting with internal and external audit requests during half and full year.
  • Product costing roll out on monthly/yearly basis. (For both AU & NZ)
  • Responsbile for all compliance activitites (like GST, FBT, Income Tax Return, Statutory Accounts etc)
  • Fixed cost Management.

Qualifications:

  • CPA / CA Qualified
  • Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting)
  • Experience working with manufacturing companies (Desired)
  • Proficiency in SAP modules FI, CO, MM (Mandatory)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with Business Intelligence Platforms
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge and application of accounting ‘best practices’
