The Project

The Alkimos SeaWater Alliance project will deliver WA's next major water source - A new seawater desalination plant at Alkimos. At completion of stage 1 the plant will supply up to 50 billion litres of clean, safe drinking water to millions of Western Australians each year.

We are looking for an Office Administrator to support the daily running of the Murray Street office in the CBD. You will assist senior managers with admin tasks, ensure that meeting rooms are organised and general administrative/office management duties.

Key accountabilities for the position will be:

  • Undertaking general administrative support and assistance to staff and Directors
  • Assist in the development of effective and efficient policies and processes
  • Support the team in creating documents and correspondence
  • Ensure key documentation are appropriately filed within our system
  • Ad-hoc administration and project work as directed
  • Maintain and distribute regular site office contact information

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Relevant eperience in a similar position, construction industry is ideal (not essential)
  • Advanced skill with MS Office suite of applications in particular Word and Excel
  • Well developed verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Good at multi-tasking and demonstrates sound judgments, including balancing competing issues
