This role is a high impact territory leadership opportunity, blending strong sales delivery with strategic business development to unlock sustainable growth. You’ll work closely with your team to orchestrate account strategies, build advocacy, and accelerate appropriate, on label use—positioning AstraZeneca as the partner of choice for lung health in Victoria.

What you’ll do

  • Lead strategic account planning for high‑value hospital networks in Victoria; align with brand strategy to hit oncology sales and access targets.

  • Deliver lung oncology sales and access goals by engaging MDTs with science‑based discussions on approved indications, efficacy/safety, and treatment protocols to support appropriate on‑label prescribing.

  • Build partnerships with senior hospital stakeholders (Specialist Physicians, Heads of Department, Key Financial Officers) and leaders across the lung cancer ecosystem to co‑create win‑win solutions.

  • Drive cross‑functional collaboration across regions; share stakeholder insights to strengthen product development, brand marketing, field execution, and scale best practices.

  • Generate clinical demand and market development in TGA‑registered, PBS‑reimbursed settings; present tailored value propositions, including alignment with diagnostics pathways and testing stakeholders.

  • Lead education programs: organise multidisciplinary workshops and speaker events; support nurses and pharmacists on approved lung brand indications and protocol integration.

Essential for the role

  • Proven ability to deliver plans and achieve sales goals on budget within specialty care/hospital accounts.

  • Demonstrated experience engaging lung multi-disciplinary teams on approved lung oncology indications, efficacy/safety and treatment protocols to support appropriate on‑label prescribing.

  • Track record of developing and executing strategic account plans aligned to brand strategy and prioritising high‑value accounts.

  • Ability to build and manage long‑term relationships with senior hospital stakeholders and coordinate specific account actions across cross‑functional teams.

  • Competence conducting science‑based discussions with healthcare professionals and documenting/sharing account insights to inform cross‑functional initiatives.

Desirable for the role

  • Existing network across Victoria Oncology multi-disciplinary teams and hospital decision-makers.

  • Experience influencing national guidelines and/or state formulary/protocol positioning for approved oncology indications.

  • Success engaging broader oncology ecosystem stakeholders to co‑develop solutions and build customer advocacy.

  • Familiarity leveraging outcomes research and data flows to support outcomes‑based conversations and position leadership in health.
