OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To oversee and coordinate the daily Delivery tasks for JB HiFi/TGG 2-man crews,
-
To assist with the Day-to-Day operations of JB HiFi/TGG, co-ordinating Adhoc jobs, daily pickups, and deliveries from Stores
-
To maintain and develop relationships with the contractor fleet
-
Training of new contractors
-
Provide a contact point for JB HiFi/TGG and their stakeholders for customer service or operational queries
-
Provide operational feedback and insight to the Operations Services Manager.

Assist with customer escalations
-
Identify strategic initiatives to improve customer outcomes and contractor productivity levels.

Enforce a safety-first culture.

To assist whenever necessary with the management of TGE Courier, JB HiFi/TGG.
-
Assist with planning and preparation of peak periods including Black Friday, Boxing day
-
Work required Tuesday – Saturday, allowance paid for Saturday shift
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Provide supervision of all operational processes and procedures for JB HiFi/TGG
-
Monitor the daily delivery allocations for JB HiFi/TGG
-
Ensure all deliveries are completed within the allotted timeframes each day
-
Performance management of contractors
-
New driver/offsider training as well as development training where required
-
Coordinate backup vehicles where required with a focus on service and efficiency
-
Manage driver leave and absenteeism
-
Ensure JBTGG/TGE SOP’s are followed
-
Devise strategies to ensure service standards are met and continuous improvement
-
Have an understanding of routing requirements.

Communicate any operational problems to the Contract Services Manager without delay.

Ensure compliance with both TGE and Customer technological requirements
-
Ensure any manual bookings are entered into the system in a timely and accurate fashion
-
Ensure customer charges and driver pays are correct each day
-
Site visit to check damages to property may be required.

Ensure driver compliance to OH&S and Road Safety requirements
-
Manage driver and vehicle presentation standards to ensure compliance with JB/TGG/TGE requirements
-
Respond to customer service or operational enquiries by JBTGG or their stakeholders quickly and effectively

Perform other related duties as required from time to time

Compliance with all TGE policies and procedures
