The Operations Associate will manage daily operations, oversee the settlement process, resolve client issues, and support compliance activities.
Job Description:
The Operations Associate will manage day-to-day operations, including overseeing the settlement process, monitoring operational risks, and contributing to the Operations team of our Australian business. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with customer service and internal teams to resolve issues, reduce client complaints, and improve overall client experience.
- Respond to client enquiries and provide accurate, timely explanations regarding account, transaction, and operational matters.
- Support corporate actions processing, including dividends, splits, rights issues, and other entitlement events.
- Assist in account maintenance, and account closure processes, including required documentation checks.
- Support compliance and risk management activities, including internal investigations, audits, and regulatory reporting.
- Monitor and escalate operational exceptions, system issues, or potential risks in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate operational records and contribute to the development and upkeep of SOPs and internal controls.
Requirements
- Minimum 1~2 years of experience in Operations/Settlement/Remittance gained in financial or brokerage firms, or crypto related context is highly desired;
- Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines:
- Sound knowledge of the relevant rules and regulations of ASIC and AUSTRAC;
- Self-motivated, with a good analytical mindset and ability to work under pressure;
- Excellent presentation and problem solving skills;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese is a plus;
- Proficient in Excel, Access and Microsoft Office Suite.
