The Role

We are hiring an Operations & Logistics Coordinator to support the deployment and day-to-day operation of our mobile battery energy storage systems and other distributed energy assets.

This role will own much of the coordination required to move equipment to and from customer sites, manage rental and transportation vendors, maintain accurate site and asset records, support receiving and warehouse activities, and keep operational and maintenance documentation organized.

This is a hands-on, onsite role that combines logistics coordination, operational administration, and practical field support. You will work closely with our Operations Engineers, Projects, Sales, Accounting, and external vendors to make sure equipment, records, and services are where they need to be when they need to be there.

We are looking for someone who is highly organized, follows through reliably, and is comfortable handling both administrative work and practical onsite tasks.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate transportation, delivery, retrieval, and staging of batteries, generators, trailers, and other equipment for customer deployments

  • Coordinate with rental companies, trucking providers, fuel vendors, and other service providers

  • Track equipment rentals, delivery schedules, vendor commitments, and open logistics items

  • Support review and reconciliation of rental invoices, fuel deliveries, and other operational costs

  • Maintain accurate site, asset, vendor, rental, and operational records in systems such as Salesforce, Odoo, and other internal tools

  • Keep maintenance records, service history, and equipment documentation organized and up to date

  • Receive packages, freight, and equipment deliveries at our Long Beach facility

  • Support warehouse and material-handling activities, including forklift operation once certified

  • Assist with equipment registrations, DMV visits, permits, documentation, and other operational administrative tasks as needed

  • Track open issues and follow up with vendors and internal stakeholders until they are resolved

  • Support site mobilizations and demobilizations by confirming equipment, transportation, vendor, and delivery requirements

  • Help identify discrepancies in records, invoices, deliveries, serial numbers, schedules, or other operational information

  • Support Operations Engineers and project teams with ad hoc logistics and administrative needs

  • Occasionally travel locally to vendors, customer sites, DMV offices, or other locations as required

Must-Haves

  • Experience coordinating construction logistics, equipment rentals, fleet, field service, or similar physical operations

  • Strong organization and follow-through across multiple concurrent tasks, vendors, and deadlines

  • Comfortable working onsite and performing hands-on tasks including receiving freight, warehouse support, material handling, and local errands

  • Clear written and verbal communication with vendors and internal stakeholders

  • Basic spreadsheet and data competency, including comfort reviewing invoices, fuel deliveries, rental charges, and operational records

Nice-to-Haves

  • Familiarity with BESS, generators, electrical equipment, or other industrial power systems

  • Experience with Salesforce, Odoo, ERP, CMMS, inventory, fleet-management, or similar systems

  • Experience reviewing vendor invoices, purchase orders, fuel records, or other operational expenses

  • Experience maintaining fleet, equipment, or maintenance records

  • Forklift certification or prior material-handling experience; willingness to obtain certification is sufficient

  • Prior experience in a startup or fast-scaling operations environment
