Job DescriptionAs Orchard expands its Marketing Automation capabilities, we are seeking a Marketing Automation Specaliost with strong hands-on expertise in HubSpot, and experience across additional enterprise platforms such as Salesforce Marketing.
While the primary focus of this role will be the configuration, build, and optimisation of HubSpot environments (Marketing Hub, Data Hub, and Content Hub), we are looking for someone who understands broader marketing automation ecosystems and can apply cross-platform best practices.
You will play a critical role in designing, building, and integrating automation programs across client environments, including modern implementations and legacy systems with custom code developed over several years.
This role bridges strategy and technical execution, partnering with strategists, CRM and Tech leads, and clients to deliver scalable, high-performing automation infrastructure.
QualificationsKey Responsibilities:
1. Marketing automation build & configuration (HubSpot primary focus):
- Configure and implement automation workflows across HubSpot Marketing Hub and Data Hub
- Build lead nurture journeys, lifecycle automation, lead scoring, and segmentation models
- Develop campaign assets including emails, landing pages, forms, and dynamic content
- Implement attribution tracking and reporting frameworks
- Design scalable automation architectures aligned to funnel strategy
2. Cross-platform marketing automation support
- Contribute to solution design and implementation across additional platforms such as Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud and other enterprise MA systems
- Translate automation strategy across platforms while maintaining best practice data structures
- Support migration or integration between HubSpot and other marketing automation/CRM platforms
3. Integrations & data architecture
- Design and implement integrations between marketing automation platforms and external systems (CRM, CMS, analytics, paid media, CDPs)
- Configure APIs, webhooks, custom objects, and data sync workflows
- Ensure data integrity, governance, and scalable system architecture
- Troubleshoot integration and sync issues
4. CMS & custom development (HubSpot)
- Work within legacy HubSpot CMS environments containing custom-coded modules
- Maintain and enhance existing custom themes, templates, and modules
- Develop new modules using HubL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Refactor or modernise older implementations where required
Requirements:
- 3+ years hands-on experience in marketing automation platforms, with proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AMPscript, and HubL (or similar templating languages) desired
- Strong expertise in Hubspot required
- Deep experience in workflow automation, segmentation and lifecycle management, and CRM data structures
- Experience working with APIs and system integrations
- Experience working with legacy CMS environments and custom code
Desirable:
- HubSpot certifications (Marketing Software, CMS for Developers, Solutions Architecture)
- Experience integrating with Salesforce CRM or Microsoft Dynamics
- Knowledge of middleware tools (Zapier, Make, AWS Lambda, etc.)
- Experience with data warehousing or CDP platforms
- Experience migrating legacy CMS builds to modern frameworks
- Familiarity with conversion rate optimisation and experimentation frameworks
- Experience in agency or multi-client environments desired
