About the role

As an Order Management Specialist, you will be part of the Customer Service team and will support the sales, service and rental teams by ensuring customer orders and enquiries are managed promptly, accurately and professionally.

You will act as a Xylem brand ambassador, helping to build trust and credibility with customers across sectors including mining, government, industrial and indirect channel partners.

Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader, this role will suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced customer-focused environment, partnering with internal teams and solving problems to achieve positive outcomes.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer orders and enquiries in a timely, professional and customer-focused manner
  • Provide accurate and timely order entry and data management
  • Actively manage and monitor on-time delivery requirements
  • Support reporting and forecasting activities as required
  • Maintain relevant systems, records and procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Liaise with customers across multiple industry sectors
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve issues, concerns and delivery matters
  • Support sales, service and rental teams to deliver a strong customer experience

 

About you:

  • Experience in customer service, order management, sales support or a related administration role
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when working with systems and data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and resolving customer concerns
  • Strong stakeholder management and teamwork skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
  • A professional, customer-centric mindset
  • Confidence liaising with both internal teams and external customers
