As a Technical Consultant for our ORE team, you will have a direct impact on advancing patient care through Medtronic’s technologies and therapies in laparoscopic procedures.Join our team and be part of a community of experts committed to ensuring quality and affordable care around the world. For this remote position, the working territory will be Galicia, Castilla y Leon and Asturias, and you will be expected to be preferably located in Castilla y Leon or Galicia.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Plan programs alongside the Sales Manager and other groups to train customers
- Provide technical support to customers in OR and information and training
- Support sales and marketing teams during presentations and introductions of new products and therapies in lap procedures
- Report on all accounts, market, and competitive information, trends, and metrics
- Collate and report all customer feedback, product and legal issues, and customer complaints from product-related events
- Carry out all administrative duties, such as regularly providing activity reports to the Sales Manager
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in OR and medical devices selling
- Knowledge of medical devices, laparoscopy procedures and products (Access, Surgical instruments, laparoscopy and manual sutures.)
- Fluent English and Spanish
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively on projects, as well as have a Spain-wide view
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organization, detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
- Experience in the medical device industry, including a hospital operating room environment, is highly valued.
