The work matters.

Jodie AI is a UK company building an AI receptionist for busy businesses. Jodie answers calls, captures the important details and helps owners get back to customers, even when they can't pick up themselves.

Help Australian business owners get more from Jodie, with outreach, onboarding and support shaped around their local working day.

What you'll own

  • Research target businesses and run thoughtful outbound calls, emails and follow-ups.
  • Qualify the problem, buying process and timing before booking a useful product conversation.
  • Run clear demonstrations and work with account managers to move suitable opportunities forward.
  • Keep the CRM current, test messages and improve qualified pipeline rather than chasing activity for its own sake.

What you'll bring

  • Evidence of creating qualified opportunities through outbound B2B sales.
  • A clear, confident phone manner and concise written communication.
  • Resilience, good listening and a disciplined approach to follow-up.
  • Respect for prospect preferences and experience following consent and opt-out processes.

Useful, but not essential

Selling SaaS, telephony or business services to owner-operated companies.

You don't need a particular degree or every nice-to-have. Show us the relevant work you've done and how you think.

Your first 90 days

A starting point we'll shape together, with clear priorities and support.

  • By day 30: Learn the customer problems, product demonstration and qualification criteria.
  • By day 60: Own a prospecting segment and a consistent cadence, with coaching on real conversations.
  • By day 90: Build a repeatable flow of qualified opportunities and show which messages convert into revenue.

Where and when you'll work

Full-time, 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Based in Australia, with customer coverage aligned to Sydney business hours, including daylight-saving changes. Your exact schedule is agreed before offer.

You'll need to be based in one of the listed countries. We'll confirm the employing arrangement, local benefits and any location restrictions with you before moving to an offer.

Tell us your location and whether you need visa sponsorship when you apply. We will discuss feasibility early; sponsorship and relocation support are not guaranteed.

What you'll earn

  • Annual base salary (before tax): AU$100k - AU$125k AUD
  • Total annual on-target earnings (OTE, base + commission): AU$155k - AU$190k AUD

Where you sit in the range reflects the scope you can own and the relevant skills you bring. We discuss this early, using the published band rather than your previous salary.

On-target earnings (OTE) are total earnings at 100% of target, not guaranteed pay. We explain targets, ramp-up, commission rates and payment timing before you accept an offer.

All figures are in Australian dollars. Employer superannuation contributions are paid in addition to the advertised salary.

The benefits

Pay worth moving for

A published salary range for every role. Sales roles show base pay and on-target earnings separately, so you know exactly what you are considering.

Proper time off

30 days of paid annual leave, plus the public holidays where you work. Time to switch off, come back fresh and have a life outside work.

Keep getting better

A GBP 2,000 annual learning budget, or local-currency equivalent, for useful courses, books and conferences. Build skills you can put to work.

Tools that do the job

A company laptop, the software you need and a suitable workspace setup. Remote roles include support getting your home workspace ready.

Support for your future

A 5% employer pension contribution for UK employees. Regional retirement contributions and benefits are set out in your local offer.

Room to make a difference

Own meaningful work, speak directly with the people making decisions and see your ideas reach customers. Clear priorities and useful feedback.

A clear, practical hiring process

  1. A first conversation. Talk about your experience, the work, location and compensation.
  2. A look at how you work. Prepare a short outreach message and take part in a discovery-call role-play with time for feedback. We'll share the format and expected time beforehand.
  3. Meet the team. Discuss the way we'd work together, ask your questions and review next steps.

We use role-related evidence to make decisions. Please don't share confidential work or customer information. Tell us if an adjustment would help you show your strengths.

How to apply

Email your CV or a link to your profile, your location and a short example relevant to this role. A few clear paragraphs are plenty.

What to include: Tell us about an outbound campaign you ran and what made its conversations or conversion rate better.

The city's tech sector has earned a reputation as one of the fastest-growing in the region.
