Paid Social Media Manager

Location: London Victoria or Newcastle

Full-time

Working Hours: Mon-Fri - 40 hours

Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays

As Paid Social Media Manager, you will be a crucial part of the Lead Generation team, take responsibility of managing digital campaigns, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, A/B testing, and campaign optimisation. Our Paid Social Media Manager will have experience in and be confident to:

  • Take full ownership of all Display and Push Digital Campaigns
  • Design and implement tests that experiment with new strategies, and
  • Compile analyses to deliver improvements.
  • Analyse Digital campaign performance data and provide actionable insights for optimisation.
  • Produce recurrent KPI reporting of all digital campaigns, and ad hoc reporting determined by evolving business needs.
  • Execute, coordinate, optimise, A/B test, and troubleshoot large-scale Digital campaigns on multiple platforms, as well as testing new platforms.
  • Design, implement, and analyse experiments testing optimisation theories, including changes in bidding strategies and creative enhancements.
  • Build processes that feed offline conversion data back into online campaigns for advanced targeting and optimisations
  • Conduct ad research and write ad copy. Structure campaigns and ad sets, and determine the best settings for each.
  • Review campaign performance daily on various social, display, native and programmatic platforms.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of digital marketing activities in all branch areas & provide analysis to the wider team with suggested action plans for improved performance.
  • Continue to test new video creatives and short video platform enhancements.
  • Ensure that all Paid Social and Display campaigns are optimised to bring highly targeted traffic to our website while also ensuring ROI for every channel’s marketing budget.
  • Work alongside the digital marketing team to understand and help attribute cross-channel performance drivers and to allocate appropriate budget to digital campaigns and ensuring budget is spent with maximum ROI.
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with paid social, display, native and programmatic support teams, and with any other relevant suppliers or agencies.
  • Explore new digital channels for potential expansion.
  • Coordinate with the umbrella Digital Marketing Group to stay up-to-date with the most recent technologies and strategies tested on other markets, as well as promptly sharing local success stories.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of digital marketing experience on paid social, native, display and/or programmatic campaigns, managing significant budgets over a wide number of campaigns.
  • 3+ years of data analysis experience.
  • Highly proficient in Excel. Knowledge of relational databases, Power BI/data visualization tools, and Python is a strong plus.
  • Skilled and experienced in the use of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Ads Manager, and DoubleClick.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Needs to be able to think strategically and analytically, take intelligent risks, make connections between data trends, and be creative when needed.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Copywriting skills are desirable.
  • Reliable, autonomous, and organised, with a strong work ethic, and a fervent desire to learn.
  • Able to prioritise multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Capable of adapting to a fast-changing environment and take on ad hoc projects when necessary.
  • High degree of personal loyalty and integrity with the ability to inspire confidence and gain credibility.
  • Previous experience in marketing in the security industry is a plus.
