We are actively seeking a Paralegal, ANZ. The role will report directly to the Director and Managing Counsel - ANZ. The Paralegal, ANZ will be based in Australia and may work from a remote office.
Position Summary
The ANZ Paralegal will play a pivotal role in supporting our expanding ANZ Legal team by managing a wide range of tasks related to commercial transactions with clients and suppliers. Key responsibilities include administering the ServiceNow legal ticketing intake for the ANZ region, reviewing NDAs and service agreements, assisting with internal documents, and providing essential support to the legal team in their day-to-day activities.
This position is responsible for coordinating signatures for contracts, preparing initial drafts of contracts, validating redlined or executed agreements, drafting legal correspondence, conducting legal research, and offering proactive assistance to attorneys and contract analysts. The successful candidate will track and monitor transaction status, coordinate the routing of legal documents to appropriate stakeholders, and collaborate with the Global Legal department and other functional areas. We seek a detail-oriented, highly organized professional with a strong work ethic and a hands-on approach.
The Transactions Paralegal may also assume additional responsibilities as required by Rimini Street’s dynamic and evolving business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with attorneys, global paralegals, contract analysts, and legal professionals on a variety of matters related to client, supplier, and strategic partner contracts
- Draft legal documents from templates under manager direction, including NDAs, Master Services Agreements, Amendments, and Statements of Work
- Review, redline, and finalize NDAs and Amendments
- Proofread and validate redlined and executed contracts
- Track and monitor contract status, ensuring proper routing of legal documents to relevant stakeholders
- Work closely with internal business partners to facilitate timely transaction closures
- Maintain the contract template library and coordinate the translation of all templates
- Demonstrate proficiency in the MS Office Suite (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Utilize CMS systems, Adobe Sign, and Adobe Acrobat DC, including experience with fillable PDF forms and form creation
- Assist with company secretarial duties for ANZ operations (e.g., annual filings/returns)
Experience
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Paralegal (or equivalent), either in a law firm or top tier corporate environment
