Paralegal/Administrator

As APAC Paralegal/ Administrator primary responsibilities include:

Paralegal

  • Maintain, update and roll out of template agreements in collaboration with cross functional stakeholders.
  • Liaise with the board of directors, officers and external law firms regarding corporate secretarial matters
  • Review, draft and/or develop non-complex legal documents, communications and training materials independently
  • Assist the Head of Legal, APAC with the review of internal processes and documents and ensure compliance with the relevant internal and external regulatory framework, company policies, standards and requirements
  • Independently handle legal and/or factual research as required
  • Review and advise on compliance related programs
  • Assist with the management of legal issues on a day-to-day basis under the direction of Head of Legal, APAC

Administrator

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for Head of Legal, APAC.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation for meetings and presentations.
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, records, and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Liaise with external vendors and manage team budget and expenses.
  • Process payment requests for vendors
  • Provide support and assistance to APAC Legal Team

Position Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Prior In-house paralegal and compliance experience will be highly advantageous
  • Experience as an Administrator in an MNC/high matrix organization
  • Ability to provide practical and commercially focused solutions whilst consistently applying a high standard of integrity, professionalism, and business ethics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in work.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills, coupled with a customer service-oriented approach.
