The wealth management business consists of three distinct brands in addition to Perpetual Private – Fordham, Jacaranda financial planning and Priority Life – offering a unique mix of wealth management, advice and trustee services. With a diverse range of capabilities including strategic advice on superannuation and retirement planning, general investment, asset protection, insurance, tax management, estate planning, aged care, social security, succession planning and philanthropy. Our clients include individuals, families, businesses, not-for-profit organisations and Indigenous communities throughout Australia.

About the Role

As Partner of Jacaranda Financial Planning, you will be responsible for leading and growing a high performing team of professional financial advisers and associates.

The role is focused on driving the strategic direction, operational excellence, and maintaining the client centric culture of the business while leveraging the full backing of the Perpetual Group.

People Leadership:

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a team of financial advisers and associates, ensuring high standards of professionalism, client service, continuous learning and accountability.

  • Build a supportive and collaborative team culture that encourages sharing of knowledge and resources.

Business Leadership:

  • Continue to execute our strategic growth plan that drives both client acquisition and retention, with a focus on optimising retirement and superannuation outcomes.

  • Oversee the performance of the Jacaranda Financial Planning business, ensuring financial and operational targets are met.'

Client-Centric Leadership:

  • Foster a culture of trust, transparency, and respect in client relationships, ensuring that the advice provided is always in the best interest of clients.

  • Ensure Jacaranda advisers maintain direct, open lines of communication with clients, providing clarity on complex financial matters and helping clients make informed decisions.

Growth Mindset and Innovation:

  • Continuously identify new business opportunities and ways to improve service delivery, leveraging insights from both the financial planning industry and the Perpetual Group.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

  • FASEA-approved degree or an equivalent qualification in financial planning (essential)

  • Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) accreditation (Highly regarded

  • 10 plus years’ experience as a financial adviser

  • 5 plus years’ experience in leading a team in financial services

  • Experience in the provision of financial advice within the complex retirement planning

  • Strong track record delivering sustainable profitable business growth in terms of new clients aligned to segment and revenue

  • Experience leading and building high performing teams

  • Demonstrated ability to foster strong stakeholder relationships
