Description
We are seeking a Partner Lead, Infotainment who will be responsible for supporting and cultivating large-scale Audio, Video, and Gaming partnerships. The role will work across and within project teams to deliver on key strategic technology initiatives. Responsibilities include shaping, negotiating, and formalizing strategic, win-win partnerships with leading organizations across both evolving and established digital domains
This position is highly cross-functional and requires working with and leveraging resources from the product and strategy teams, technical, marketing, finance, and legal.
Working with our partners, you will drive both innovation and a reimagination of automotive as an immersive, purpose-built platform for digital experiences. In alignment and collaboration with leadership teams, you will help deliver 3rd Party partnerships, that position GM as a platform innovator. You are technical by nature, with an innate ability to both translate between technical and business teams.
About the Team
The Strategic Technology Partnerships team is focused on empowering GM to achieve more by helping deliver best-in-class infotainment and digital customer experiences. We advance that goal by leveraging strategic technology partnerships to accelerate and differentiate GM's Software and Services product roadmaps - and by unlocking large scale joint value creation with strategic partners in service of shared customers and initiatives. Our orientation is towards sustainable, long-term value creation. Through strategic partnerships, we propel General Motors into groundbreaking areas by identifying new opportunities, advising senior-level decision-makers, driving best-in-class deal making, and providing thought leadership to our stakeholders across the company.
What You'll Do
  • Support complex, large-scale, high-value strategic partnerships in Infotainment domains including Audio, Video, Gaming, and Productivity

  • Strengthen existing partnerships and ongoing engagement through marketing, recuring partner business reviews, and driving partner KPIs

  • Help set and implement partner and domain strategy

  • Coordinate and organize efforts across a diverse set of internal stakeholders

  • Directly represent GM in external partner communications

  • Navigate complex organizations and situations

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
  • Collaboration and relationship-building experience - with experience developing working relationships at all levels of management

  • Proven deal-making expertise spanning strategic planning and negotiating, inclusive of preparing and curating comprehensive issue lists to drive productive stakeholder reviews and decisions

  • Effective, creative, and data-driven storytelling capabilities

  • Proactive, solution-oriented problem solver with "what would it take" mindset

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to orchestrate and successfully complete deals and programs

  • High level of enthusiasm and innovation with experience to adapt easily to change and multitask

  • Experience managing internal and external relationships

  • Comfortable navigating and driving organizational change

  • Action-oriented and operate with urgency

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Ability to travel 20% of the time including travel to GM HQ in Michigan

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with audio/video/media partners, technologies, and distribution

  • Experience with Android technologies, and requirements

  • MBA Preferred
  • Preferred Locations: Mountain View, CA, Seattle WA, or Warren, MI

Location: This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of (Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, Milford or Mountain View), you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum.
Compensation:
The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws.
The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position, as well as geography of the selected candidate.
  • The salary range for this role is $94,800 - $151,400. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
  • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
