We’re looking for a Partner Manager to join our APAC Retail Go-To-Market (GTM) team. You’ll be responsible for developing our existing distribution partnerships to generate new business, retain existing partners, and grow revenue with our largest and most complex partners in the region.

Partner Managers have a deep understanding of our partner’s ambitions, products and technology, as well as an understanding of the wider retail industry. 

Reporting to the Director, Retail APAC, you will also be responsible for partner performance, reporting and partner stakeholder management.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Contribute to and execute the regional Partnership strategy, including identifying and onboarding new partners into the Partner Programme.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing partners, ensuring successful onboarding, relationship development, and increasing referral volume and MRR.
  • Collaborate with partners on innovative campaigns that drive high-quality referrals and activations.
  • Develop deep, trust-based relationships through clear communication and a strong understanding of each partner’s goals, structure, and pain points.
  • Regularly assess partner capabilities, opportunities, and risks to support accurate forecasting and portfolio growth planning.
  • Support partners and merchants with product demonstrations and basic troubleshooting when needed.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, especially the sales team, to drive SQLs, MRR, Payments Attach Rate, and champion partner needs within Lightspeed.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and represent Lightspeed at relevant events and through occasional outbound prospecting.
What you need to bring:

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

  • Prior experience in partnerships / channel / account management and/or customer success experience; Software sales experience preferred
  • A high degree of initiative, a strong sense of ownership and desire to work autonomously
  • Strong B2B relationship building skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and group presentation skills
  • Ability to train, motivate, and foster relationships with potential partners
  • Ability to develop comprehensive reseller growth strategies
