Job Description

The Partnership Analyst is a key contributor to TAL’s Group Partnerships team, ensuring outstanding outcomes for our superannuation and corporate partners. This role delivers high-quality operational insights, relationship management, and technical/product support to help TAL meet contractual obligations, enhance partner satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement across the business.

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across underwriting, claims, product, complaints, and technical teams to manage reporting, resolve queries, and assist in delivering strategic initiatives.

Success in this position requires a proactive, persuasive, and self-driven approach, along with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders and balance competing priorities. Equal emphasis is placed on ownership and follow-through, quality and attention to detail, and timeliness and urgency.

In This Role You Will

  • Develop a strong understanding of TAL’s contractual, regulatory and operational commitments across Insurance Service Agreements and related documentation
  • Provide timely and professional support to the Partnership Management team, implementation tasks and general relationship management activities
  • Support fund administrators/trustees by facilitating queries and providing operational insights across underwriting, claims, contact centre, complaints and technical teams.
  • Complete data analysis deep dives to identify operational trends, risks or insights that may impact partner outcomes or service delivery
  • Prepare and deliver reporting in line with contractual obligations under the Insurance Services Agreement (ISA), ensuring accuracy, timeliness and clear communication of insights or required actions
  • Assist in preparing partner updates, responses to escalations, and coordination of stakeholder actions across the business

Qualifications

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis and reporting
  • Solid analytical capability, including the ability to interpret data, identify insights and prepare clear summaries
  • Strong client relationship management and customer service orientation
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the financial services sector (life insurance, superannuation or wealth management preferred)
  • Experience in operations, product, partnerships or claims is highly regarded
