Join our Payment Operations team and be part of a unit that offers innovative solutions and services across multiple asset classes and geographies. As a Payment Operations Specialist, you will ensure timely and accurate settlement of payments, contributing to J.P. Morgan's leadership in clearing, custody, operations, and technology solutions.
As a Payment Operations Specialist within EMEA Payments Operations Team, you will support the timely settlement of payments for our global clients. You will work in a dynamic environment, managing transaction activities and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Job responsibilities:
- Monitors transaction activity and controls settlement timeframes for fund transfers.
- Repairs payment transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Verifies transactions to meet compliance standards.
- Processes manual instructions for global currencies.
- Reviews, researches, and processes incoming funds transfers, ensuring accurate client account crediting or returning funds to the remitting bank.
- Leads or contributes to operational improvement initiatives and projects as directed by the Operations Manager.
- Supports incident management and remediation as required.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Previous experience in an operational, financial services, or customer services environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Resilient interpersonal skills with the ability to partner with internal stakeholders.
- Client-focused with a strong controls mindset.
- Proactive and flexible approach to personal workload and team targets.
- Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize workload.
- Excellent time management skills.

- Proficiency in PC applications such as Excel, Word, and Access.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- FX & FXO experience
- Working knowledge of the IB funds transfer policy
- Knowledge of TSSFX and Athena i
