About the role:

We’re now looking for a Payroll Assistant to join our collaborative national payroll team. This role can be based in either Perth or Sydney, offering flexibility and support as you grow your career in a dynamic, people-first environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist in processing payroll for over 2,000 employees across Australia
  • Maintain and update employee records, including onboarding new starters
  • Support the calculation of termination payments and payroll adjustments
  • Contribute to end-of-month and end-of-year reconciliations and reporting
  • Deliver high-quality customer service via Workday help cases, email, and phone
  • Collaborate with People & Culture and other Corporate Services teams to ensure seamless support

About you:

What you’ll bring:

Essential:

  • A foundational understanding of Australian payroll legislation
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear communication and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset

Desirable:

  • Experience with ADP Payforce and/or Workday HCM
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
