We are looking for a full time Payroll Coordinator to join our ASX listed company, working in a supportive team, and offering a hybrid working environment!

About the Role

The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Payroll team in performing the day-to-day activities associated with the timely and accurate processing of remuneration payments and employee entitlements.

Responsibilities include

  • Co-ordination, preparation and distribution of monthly and off cycle payroll
  • Preparing, reconciling, and reporting to fulfil statutory, legal and compliance requirements  
  • Interpretation and implementation of relevant awards and internal policies
  • Perform termination, redundancy, and other payment calculations
  • Collect, calculate, enter, and check data in order to maintain and update payroll information
  • Prepare and distribute PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, employee deductions etc
  • Administer salary packaging
  • Process annual remuneration review and bonus payments in line with policies 
  • Monitor and action payroll enquires and requests 

Please note: whilst we work in a very flexible hybrid work environment, there is an expectation to be flexible on in office days to meet peak needs, system testing and training.

About You

  • Proven payroll experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of payroll processes, Australian legislation, Award and policy interpretation
  • Proficient in using payroll software and Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Process driven, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
