We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join our team based at Huntingwood (Eastern Creek). In this role, you will work under the guidance of the Payroll Manager and will be responsible for the end to end administration of all payroll processes. We are seeking an individual with demonstrated experience in a similar role who is ready to take on the next step in their professional development. Your responsibilities:
Provide support & process end-to-end fortnightly & monthly pay runs.
Ensure all payments comply with statutory obligations.
Coordinate payroll setup for new hires and any changes to existing employee data.
Provide support to employees for queiries on their pay or payroll related systems.
Act as the primary point of contact for employee payroll enquiries and liaise with external bodies such as the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) or superannuation funds as required.
Requirements for success:
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role with experience in processing pay runs end-to-end
Possess a Certificate IV in Payroll Administration or Accounting as a minimum
Proficiency in payroll software (preferably Micropay)
Exposure to Time and Attendance software (preferably Kronos / UKG)
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Understanding of industrial awards, enterprise agreements, and relevant legislation
