We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Workers Compensation Self-Insurance Specialist to manage payroll processes related to workers' compensation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll processing, workers' compensation claims, and self-insurance programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Processing:
    • Manage and process payroll for employees, ensuring accurate calculations of wages, deductions, and benefits.
    • Collaborate with customer payroll to verify employee classifications and ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Stay updated on workers' compensation laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Communication and Support:
    • Serve as a point of contact for payroll and workers' compensation enquiries.
    • Provide training and support to team members on workers' compensation policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field desirable
  • Knowledge of self-insured workers' compensation programs and experience in payroll processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
