About the Role

This role is a 12–15-month parental leave cover position within the high performing, collaborative and supportive People & Culture (P&C) team. The P&C team, including this position are a pivotal factor in enabling the firm to achieve its strategic objectives and is a trusted and respected partner to the business.

This role will support the Advisory service line of the Sydney office, reporting to the People & Culture Manager will:  

  • Partner with leaders and the P&C team to support the execution of people strategies and cyclical P&C events, including engagement, remuneration reviews, performance appraisals, talent management, workforce planning, succession planning and manager training. 

  • Provide advice and support to employees, managers and leaders regarding all people-related matters, including performance management 

  • Provide commercially minded people-related reporting, analysis and insights to stakeholders.  

  • Partner with P&C centres of excellence including Talent Acquisition, Mobility, Learning & Development, Operations and People Experience to deliver high quality, holistic solutions to the firm. 

About You 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related discipline. 

  • Strong experience in a similar role. 

  • Experience working in a Consulting/ professional services firm is preferred but not required. 

  • Strong understanding of HR principles, employment legislation and best practice. 

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge, where required 

  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for high quality output. 

  • Ability to manage performance-related matters directly with the business independently. 

  • A strong team player with a curious mindset and desire to learn and grow.
