We are hiring a People & Culture Business Partner to drive organisational effectiveness and enhance the employee experience at Education Perfect. This role involves partnering with business leaders to provide expert, data-driven guidance that aligns people strategies with business goals. The ideal candidate will lead employee-centred design initiatives, champion DEI and support talent and performance development. They will bring expertise in complex employee relations, remuneration and a global outlook. Additionally, they will work closely with the broader P&C team to improve processes and operational efficiency, contributing to a high-performing, inclusive and engaging place to work.

What you will do

  • Develop strong understanding of business unit strategies and proactively identify People & Culture needs
  • Provide expert, data-informed coaching and guidance to leaders, translating business goals into effective people plans
  • Act as a strategic business partner to leaders across the organisation
  • Design and implement employee experiences with a focus on empathy, engagement and continuous improvement
  • Champion DEI by embedding inclusive practices across all people initiatives and fostering a psychologically safe workplace
  • Collaborate with leaders to support workforce planning, succession and talent development
  • Enable performance by coaching leaders on best practices in feedback, growth and team effectiveness
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive culture, supporting initiatives that drive engagement and retention
  • Provide expert advice on complex employee relations matters, ensuring fairness and compliance with ANZ and Canadian employment law
  • Guide and support change initiatives, helping leaders and teams navigate transitions effectively

About you

  • Extensive experience delivering People & Culture leadership in the Australian market; familiarity with Canadian and New Zealand contexts is a bonus
  • Deep understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) practices, with the ability to champion and embed DEI initiatives across programs and strategies
  • Skilled in applying employee-centred design principles to improve people programs using data, feedback and continuous iteration
  • Strong expertise in handling complex employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management and conflict resolution, with a focus on fairness and compliance
  • Proficient in remuneration and compensation strategy, including benchmarking, job evaluations and maintaining internal equity
  • Confident in leading and supporting organisational change, helping leaders and teams navigate transitions with clear and effective communication
