Join Perpetual Asset Management as a People and Culture Generalist, where you'll play a vital role in supporting and guiding people leaders, employees, and the P&C Australia team on all aspects of the employee life cycle. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact!

Within Australia, Perpetual and Pendal have a broad range of capabilities across Australian and global equities, credit, fixed income, multi-asset and ESG. About the role
This role involves close collaboration with Business Partners to provide essential operational HR support, with a focus on employee relations, engagement, and foundational HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on guidance on HR policies, processes, and employee support.

Offer expert advice on the Fair Work Act, Banking Finance & Insurance (BFI) Award, and Work, Health & Safety legislation across all states.

Lead performance management efforts, including the implementation and management of performance improvement plans (PIPs).

Maintain and enhance the performance management framework.

Support major change initiatives, such as organisational restructures and the integration of new businesses.

Oversee the Work, Health & Safety framework for both work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses.

Manage workers' compensation cases, return-to-work plans, and insurance claims.

Regularly review and update policies to ensure they remain current and relevant.

Assist the PAC Aus team in delivering the people calendar of events.

Collaborate with the PAC Aus team to continuously improve process execution and procedures.
About you

Degree in HR, Business, or Psychology is preferred.

Proven experience in a similar Generalist role.

In-depth knowledge of Australian employment law.

Talent for engaging and influencing people leaders.

Exceptional stakeholder management skills.

Demonstrated success in executing and delivering impactful projects.

Outstanding communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport and credibility through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
