Let's talk about the team:

The primary role of the People Experience Operations specialist is to serve as a key link between employees and the People team. This role requires a strong sense of urgency, customer focus, anticipation of needs, and a commitment to continuous improvement. As part of our People Experience Team, the specialist ensures that employees, managers, and leaders receive exceptional personal service, helping them quickly find information, navigate processes and systems, and connect with the correct people team efficiently, empathetically, and accountably.

Key deliverables include maintaining accurate employee information and data points, payroll management, benefits transactions, People policies and procedures, and document control for defined operations processes to ensure compliance with policy, quality, and statutory requirements. Let's talk about the role:

Automation & AI Enablement

  • Design, test, and maintain automated workflows for administrative processes, including:
  • Implement AI-powered solutions (Copilot, GPT, bots) to enhance administrative efficiency and support People team, managers, and employees.
  • Continuously assess administrative workflows to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.

Employee & Manager Experience

  • Ensure automation solutions simplify work for managers, People team, and employees, enhancing the overall experience.
  • Partner with People team and leaders to design workflows that are seamless, intuitive, and user-friendly.
  • Act as a champion for employee and manager experience, designing solutions that feel human-centered.

Engagement & Events

  • Support on-the-ground employee engagement activities (wellness, recognition, culture events).
  • Bring passion and commitment when supporting live, in-person events.

Collaboration, Training & Schedule

  • Work as part of a larger Shared Services team, collaborating across regions.
  • Train and coach colleagues by sharing automation and AI expertise, building team fluency in digital tools.
  • Work onsite in the Sydney office 2-3 days in a week with the broader team.

Let's talk about you:

Required:

  • 1-3 years of experience in automation, workflow design, or administrative process optimization.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Power Automate (flows, connectors, integrations with Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Strong expertise with AI productivity tools (Copilot, GPT, chatbots).
  • Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to partner across geographies.
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field considered an asset.
  • Workday system experience is an asset.
  • Strong communicator who takes ownership and initiative, is a relentless improver with customer empathy, and is results-oriented.
  • Strong desire to provide an exceptional, personalized customer experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passionate about employee and manager experience — eager to design solutions that truly make work easier.
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate pain points into elegant, scalable solutions.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of HRIS, finance, or travel systems (Workday, Concur, Egencia, etc.).
  • Exposure to employee experience or culture initiatives.
