About You:

You possess a passion for paid media strategy and a deep understanding of performance marketing. You have high data fluency, particularly in GA4 with the ability to build dashboards in data visualization platforms. You demonstrate expertise in paid media buying across channels like search/GLSA, social, programmatic display, and OTT, and have experience purchasing leads through third-party affiliates.  You thrive in a culture that is analytical, collaborative, and creative in problem-solving.

About the Position: 

The Paid Media Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping both strategic and tactical media buying and planning for assigned clients, leveraging data-driven insights to maximize campaign performance. This role will take full ownership of media outcomes, guiding media analysts to achieve ambitious business objectives while continuously refining strategies for optimal results. The Paid Media Manager will act as both a leader and a subject matter expert, ensuring that all media efforts align with client goals and industry best practices. This role reports to the Media Director. The salary range for this position is $70k-$90k.

We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work and will perform the work in the United States. We are not able to sponsor visas. 

Your Impact:  

  • Media Expertise: You will actively build and manage paid media campaigns across various platforms, applying your in-depth knowledge to optimize reach and ROI. Your direct involvement in campaign execution will ensure clients see measurable results.
  • Media Strategy: You will work closely with the Media Director to implement media strategies, select channels, and manage the details of media plans. You will be hands-on in tracking performance, making adjustments, and ensuring campaigns meet budget and timeline expectations.
  • Leadership & Knowledge: You will be hands-on in guiding media analysts through daily tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring campaigns are running smoothly. Your mentorship will develop analysts' skills and promote a hands-on, results-focused approach.
  • Strong Data Storyteller: You will dive into performance data to identify trends and insights, directly creating visualizations that tell a clear story to clients. Your hands-on analysis will help clients understand campaign effectiveness and areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: You will work directly with colleagues and clients, ensuring hands-on support for aligning campaign objectives and addressing challenges. Your active communication will promote strong partnerships and seamless project execution.
  • Industry Knowledge: You will continuously engage with the latest industry trends and best practices, applying insights immediately to improve campaign performance. Your proactive learning and application will keep campaigns innovative and effective.

Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in a digital agency setting, dedicated to the support and execution of performance-driven paid media
  • Proficient with paid advertising channels (i.e. Google Ads, Meta, Programmatic, etc.) and familiarity with paid marketing strategies and tactics; fluent in paid marketing KPIs
  • In-platform experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Meta
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly convey ideas, collaborate effectively with team members and clients, and build strong partnerships
  • Proficient in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) of products. 
  • Deep understanding of marketing KPIs including ROI, ROAS, CTR, CPM, etc
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and required calculations in order to report against those metrics. 
  • Ability to coordinate projects with technical, channel-specific marketers
  • Strong presentation skills, confident speaker, with the ability to tactfully manage client relations; balanced with an eagerness to learn and humility with your craft
  • Experience with Agile project management framework and Asana is a plus
  • Familiarity with generative AI technologies, with a willingness to learn and apply these concepts in real-world scenarios
