Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Lead to drive performance engineering initiatives across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in performance testing tools, cloud environments, and end-to-end test lifecycle management, along with the ability to lead teams and collaborate with stakeholders.

The Performance Test Lead will be responsible for driving end-to-end performance testing initiatives, including defining test strategy, planning, execution, and reporting. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, designing and developing performance test scripts and workload models, and executing tests using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or NeoLoad. The individual will analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks across application, network, and database layers, and work closely with development and infrastructure teams to optimize system performance. Additionally, the role includes leading and mentoring the performance testing team, ensuring best practices are followed, and effectively communicating insights, findings, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in performance testing, with at least 2 years in a lead role
  • Strong hands-on experience in requirement gathering, test strategy, test planning, execution, and reporting
  • Proven expertise in performance testing tools such as NeoLoad, JMeter, and LoadRunner
  • Strong knowledge of scripting, parameterization, and workload modelling
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or AppDynamics
  • Hands-on experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Exposure to containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Ability to analyze large datasets, identify performance trends, and troubleshoot bottlenecks
  • Strong debugging skills across application, network, and database layers
  • Proven experience in leading performance testing teams and managing stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills
  • Telecom domain experience and familiarity with Amdocs applications (good to have)
