Proactive Health is a national ecosystem of over 40 allied health businesses across 450+ locations in Australia. We unite independent clinic owners under a shared commitment to clinical excellence — providing the governance, development infrastructure, and operational support of a large network while preserving the personalised, community-driven care that smaller practices do best.
Our clinics operate as genuine multidisciplinary teams. Physiotherapists work closely alongside exercise physiologists, podiatrists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and social workers — fostering collaboration and integrated care for the best client outcomes.
We provide services across a broad spectrum including DVA, Medicare (EPC), NDIS, Home Care Packages, private health, and workers' compensation, offering our physiotherapists a diverse and clinically rich caseload.
About This Clinic — Port Macquarie
Port Macquarie is one of the NSW Mid North Coast's most established and desirable regional centres — a coastal city of around 50,000 people with excellent amenities, stunning beaches, and a climate that's the envy of most of the eastern seaboard. It's large enough to offer everything you need, but small enough that the community feel is genuine and the pace of life is sustainable.
This clinic services Port Macquarie and the surrounding Hastings region. Your caseload will span musculoskeletal rehabilitation, post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, DVA veterans, NDIS participants, and aged care clients. The region's strong GP and specialist networks ensure a consistent referral pipeline, and the MDT within the clinic — including exercise physiologists and other allied health professionals — provides genuine collaborative care.
Jose de Jesus leads this clinic with a focus on clinical excellence and building a team that people want to be part of. Jose's approach is collaborative and development-focused, ensuring clinicians have the caseload variety and professional support to grow. For a physiotherapist who's ever thought about living on the coast — with surf breaks, kayaking, and coastal walks as part of your weekly routine — Port Macquarie is the kind of place where you can build a career and a life you're genuinely proud of.
