The HR Technology function works in an Agile methodology with our HR business to plan, prioritise and deliver on high value HR & technology objectives with key results that can be experienced by all of our employees.
See yourself in our team
You will work within the Middleware, ETL and Data Engineering Chapter that is working on initiatives such as establishing decoupled HR architecture through API’s and establishing ML Ops (Sagemaker). Here, we develop support procedures and strategies for systems, networks, operating systems and applications development. We solve problems and provide technical expertise and direction in support of system infrastructure and process improvements, and diagnoses and resolves complex system problems.

Are constantly working closely with Business users and BUIT teams for application design & development.

Are confident driving the architecture of a project, including authoring functional and design specifications, scalability, testing, quality data flow, and interface.

Have solid hands one experience Ab Initio BRE Business Rule Environment or ACE Application

Pride themselves on communicating, educating and liaising with users and management to ensure awareness and adherence to standards, procedures and quality control issues and activities

Are knowledgeable assisting in troubleshooting, diagnosing, testing and resolving system problems and issues

Are confident creating and reviewing technical documentation such as procedural, instructional and operational guides and manuals, technical reports and specifications and maintenance inventory systems

Are constantly identifying variations and potential high-risk areas in securing adherence to standards and procedures

Pride themselves on recommending corrective action plans and improvements in the resolution of non-compliance with standards detected through monitoring and auditing of processes and procedures
Tech skills
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but having significant experience and exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team.

Demonstrated experience in IT industry strong data-warehouse and ETL

Extensive Working experience on all Components of Ab Initio, including but not limited to

Ab initio configuration in the AWS and control center
-
AIR commands and m commands and UNIX shell scripting

Activities related to the administration of Ab initio to ensure platform maintenance
-
GDE, Web services, Continuous Graphs, usage of Conduct>IT (Plans) and Express IT
-
Experience on the HR Application landscape and terms

Experience in the ITSM control process

Must have knowledge on data warehousing concepts, knowledge on data modelling

Maintenance of plugins related to TomCat and Webserver
