Job Description
This role will be responsible for creating robust, scalable and efficient Correspondence, Collaboration and MarTech platforms which support product teams.
Key Responsiblities:
- Technical Leadership – Develop and maintain a roadmap for the Technology itself considering future strategic direction and overall TAL technology landscape. Technology in the Comms Platform includes (but not limited to) Correspondence tools (such as Smart Comms and Whisper), Collaboration tools (such as Sharepoint), and Martech tools and capabilities (such as Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Experience Manager, Google Analytics and Marketing Data Mart).
- Team Leadership/Workforce Management - Lead, Mentor and develop this team, managing career development and creating a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Prioritise resources and remove roadblocks ensuring capacity is balanced across the value workstreams.
- Quality Solutions/Essential Tech – guide the team in delivering robust, high-quality technical solutions which support future adaptability and scalability; including managing upgrades/essential tech necessary for that technology to remain compliant/functioning.
- Vendor management - including SLA monitoring, contract negotiation, cost effectiveness and compliance
- Manage and Prioritise Remediation activities - to ensure efficient planning and delivery of remediation activity required for that technology
Qualifications
- Proven experience in leading Correspondence, Collaboration and Marketing/Campaigns technology platforms, within the Insurance Sector
- Strong technical expertise in platform architecture and design for Correspondence and Marketing/Campaigns Technology
- Excellent understanding of software development processes and methodologies
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and development tools
- Ability to manage and mentor a team of engineers
- Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Proven ability to lead and drive cross-functional alignment, and facilitate complex discussions and workshops
- Proactive in leading efforts to drive innovation, strategic initiatives and growth across the organisation
- Vendor/Third Party management experience
