Let’s talk about you

As our Platform Owner, you'll join a dedicated team to develop our enterprise systems. To be successful in this role you will possess: 

  • An understanding of the telco industry. 

  • Experience in software product ownership or a systems owner role.

  • Experience in commercial process /systems improvement. 

  • Knowledge of best practice change management principles. 

  • Knowledge and understanding of software development/ product lifecycle.  

  • Strong awareness and understanding of hardware, networks, software technologies and applications. 

How will you support our “Why?”

As our Platform Owner you will contribute with the following activities and outcomes: 

  • Translating business goals into specific software requirements.   

  • Providing expert advice on Enterprise Systems and applications, including best practices and cross functional workflow solutions. 

  • Prioritising features/capabilities based on market needs analysis and company strategies.

  • Managing project scope by making trade-offs between competing software requirements, such as time vs. cost and software security vs. speed.

  • Curating and managing key relationships with key Enterprise System stakeholders including vendors, ABB internal teams and partners.

  • Performing management and reporting of risks and issues.

  • Prioritising feature requests from the user community and the business. 

  • Ensuring that the solution is successfully meeting business goals and users' needs.

  • Making trade-offs between features, schedule, and costs based on their relationship to business goals, company policies, software architecture constraints, and software development team capabilities.

  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on platform design and enhancement planning, prioritisation, implementation, and support.
