NEP Australia is currently looking for a Platform Program Manager to join our team at the Andrew’s HUB in Eveleigh!

The position

The Platform Program Manager will be a strategic partner who drives key initiatives and ensures seamless coordination across different departments and geographies.

This hybrid role is based at Eveleigh, NSW and primarily business hours Monday to Friday with the exception of some internal meetings across global time zones.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
  • Leads and is accountable for NEP Platform projects and initiatives, working closely with business areas to bring together overarching delivery plans
  • Works with the Delivery and Solution Program Manager, Senior Project Coordinator and other business unit project teams to ensure projects are managed to defined standards and reported back
  • Works with VP Strategy, who oversees Executive Governance on the NEP Platform, to ensure reporting on KPIS and executive updates
  • Establishes an effective way to monitor progress against agreed delivery plans; oversees the preparation, review and reporting of project progress against agreed milestones and achievement of benefits against strategy-driven targets. Identify and recommends re-alignment of program plan, where appropriate, to assure delivery of benefits
  • Maintains oversight of strategic tasks; identifies and escalates potential risks and issues where necessary
  • Manages cross-project dependencies and resource allocation across workstreams
  • Act as a primary point of contact for a wide range of stakeholders

Required skills and attributes:
  • At least 5 years Previous experience in a program manager role, managing multiple projects
  • Be able to set up tools and standards for managing programs – planning, tracking, reporting
  • Experience at working in a distributed team, as well as able to work independently and autonomously
  • Experience in business consulting or from a major accounting / advisory firm.
  • Experience and skills leading without direct authority
  • Experience of understanding business strategy and able to develop plans to achieve this
  • Flexible in working styles and hours
  • One of the following certifications preferred - PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2
  • Comfortable operating in a technology-driven environment
