About the role

We’re looking for a Policy Administrator to join our dynamic underwriting team in our Sydney office who will assist with the day-to-day underwriting processes

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lodge new business and renewal submissions
  • Allocating tasks across the Underwriting team
  • Issuing claim histories
  • Manage the monthly issuance of renewal notices, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution
  • Registering submissions and allocating tasks into DUAL’s Operating System
  • Processing mid-term adjustments according to underwriting approval and issue documentation
  • Manage monthly Bordereaux processing
  • Develop working relationships with broker administration staff, underwriters and other key stakeholders
  • Handling reception overflow calls and dealing with our customers
  • Issuing timely and accurate policy documentation.
  • Clearing Pending Cash report in a timely manner and reporting to managers on outstanding items.

About you:

This role will suit someone flexible with strong communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills, digital literacy and a passion for customer service. Administration experience in financial services area (insurance or banking) is valued but not crucial. We encourage candidates with transferrable skills and a willingness to learn.  

The ideal candidate will be someone who loves multitasking, has a positive and proactive approach and believes that no task is too big or too small.
