Job Description
We have a two-year fixed term contract opportunity as a Portfolio Management Automation Manager, working within our Group Life and Retirement business unit. This is a newly created role supporting our Pricing and Portfolio Management team with leading the automation and simplification of processes and policies while strengthening governance of the portfolio and commercial management function.
You will be responsible for leading change across the team while cultivating strong relationships across Group Life and Finance business units.
In this role you will:
- Transform and automate the portfolio management and commercial management processes
- Be the key liaison with Finance to deliver seamless end to end commercial management
- Strengthen governance and risk management processes
- Document processes, frameworks, and automation policies
- Redesign more efficient and robust commercial management processes
- Develop an automation plan and milestones for tracking performance
- Develop business performance opportunities to track the return on investment criteria
- Document user guide for future state commercial management process
- Identify opportunities to proactively reduce risk
- Drive automation and efficiency with good risk practice
Qualifications
- Strong experience in automation and process engineering
- Strong, strategic thinker
- Understand accounting and actuarial concepts
- Exceptional relationship development skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrable experience in delivering quality outcomes on multiple tasks and projects within budget and planned timeframes
