Portfolio Performance Lead

The opportunity
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Portfolio Performance Lead. In this role, you’ll oversee Portfolio Management for AUSPAC’s capital projects portfolio – ensuring governance, performance tracking, and benefits reporting are delivered at an Executive-ready standard.
Your new role
As Portfolio Performance Lead, you will:
- Drive development of executive-level PowerPoint content that has impact and drives insights
- Lead the annual budget prioritisation cycle, including developing options to reduce costs and/or reprioritise the portfolio as needed
- Coordinate, assess and provide feedback on project submissions and initiative status updates to ensure executive-level quality as well as stakeholder alignment
- Track benefits realisation outcomes across the capital projects portfolio
- Take high quality minutes with key actions and decisions from Executive forums and ensure follow-through
- Engage stakeholders to gather insights, validate data, and present outcomes with impact
- Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO team – driving efficiency and reducing admin burden wherever possible
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in a PMO, management consulting, or reporting-heavy role, with strong operational focus
- Highly skilled and independent in creating Executive-level presentations using PowerPoint, with a clear narrative and visual polish
- Strong Excel skills and comfortable working with data to support performance and benefits analysis
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills—you’re confident collecting and interpreting information from various teams
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and a self-starter who takes ownership of deliverables
- No people management responsibilities—this role is designed for an individual contributor
- Insurance or financial services industry experience is welcome but not required
