One Green Bean is looking for a talented PR Account Director to join our team. You'll have the exciting opportunity to work on a range of amazing consumer accounts, from iconic global brands to dynamic Aussie start-ups. With your background in a PR or integrated agency, you'll bring valuable big-brand experience to the table.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the development of earned-first strategies grounded in cultural insight and audience understanding. 

  • Develop distinctive and strong ideas that scale across channels with creative integrity

  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing PR-focused team. 

  • Partner with specialist teams to maintain consistency and integrity of the core idea.  

  • Act as the senior client lead, building trusted, long-term partnerships. 

  • Provide clear, confident counsel across brand, reputation and communications strategy.

  • Challenge briefs constructively, bringing fresh thinking and cultural relevance to the work.

  • Lead senior client communication, campaign reviews and forward planning. 

  • Oversee media strategy and engagement to deliver impactful earned outcomes. 

  • Build and lead strategic partnerships with media, platforms, creators and cultural stakeholders. 

  • Maintain strong relationships with media and key cultural voices. 

  • Drive storytelling that is timely, relevant and positioned to travel. 

  • Lead influencer and creator activity through an earned lens, ensuring credibility and alignment to the idea. 

  • Manage account financials including scopes, budgets and forecasting. Ensure work is delivered efficiently and aligns with agreed budgets.

  • Identify opportunities for organic growth across accounts.  

You will have opportunities to contribute to new business and support the development of case studies, awards and agency profile. 

About you

  • Proven PR experience gained from working either agency side or in-house.

  • You live and breathe media relations, love the buzz of pitching to journalists and enjoy the rush of seeing your coverage come to life.

  • You take a modern approach to media relations, that reflects the current landscape and consumer behaviours.

  • You are interested in consumers, culture, and bringing to life ideas that generate conversation and coverage.  

Account Directors are one of the most important roles at ogb. You know how to lead and mentor a team, prepare media strategies, brief clients and Talent, and juggle deadlines.
