Position Overview  



We’re looking for a versatile and client-focused Data Presales Consultant to join our growing team. This role combines data solution architecture with pre-sales responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys shaping data strategy, architecting modern data platforms, and engaging with customers early in their transformation journey. 

As a Data Presales Consultant, you will play a critical role in designing data and analytics solutions, while supporting the pre-sales process through discovery workshops, solution design, technical presentations, and proposal development. You’ll bring strong experience across Microsoft Data & Azure technologies, a passion for unlocking business value from data, and the confidence to work directly with senior stakeholders to shape their data vision. 

Your focus will include modern data platform architecture, analytics and reporting solutions, data engineering, AI-driven insights, and enterprise data integration. 

Key Responsibilities  



Presales Activities:
 

  • Partner with the sales team to identify, shape, and qualify data and analytics opportunities. 
  • Conduct discovery sessions and needs assessments to gather business, data, and technical requirements. 
  • Develop tailored proposals, statements of work, and solution documentation. 
  • Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs). 
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs with high-quality, technically sound submissions. 
  • Translate business challenges into scalable data solutions including analytics, AI, and automation. 
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams. 

Delivery Activities:
 

  • Lead client workshops to define data strategy, architecture, and roadmap. 
  • Design and present modern data platform architectures leveraging Microsoft technologies. 
  • Support data governance, security, and compliance best practices. 

Qualifications 



  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience in a presales, data consulting, or solutions architecture role focused on data & analytics. 
  • Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Data & Azure technologies such as: 
  • Azure Data Factory 
  • Azure Synapse Analytics 
  • Microsoft Fabric 
  • Power BI 
  • SQL Server 
  • Hands-on experience with data engineering, ETL/ELT processes, and data modelling. 
  • Experience designing and implementing modern data platforms. 
  • Strong understanding of data architecture principles, integration patterns, and cloud-based solutions. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across presales and delivery commitments. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. 
  • Willingness to travel as required for client engagements. 

Preferred Skills 


  • Microsoft Azure or Data-related certifications. 
  • Experience leading executive and technical workshops. 
  • Knowledge of data governance, master data management (MDM), and data quality frameworks. 
  • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices for data solutions. 
  • Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments.
