What would you expect in this role

• Make a real difference in the lives of Members and their businesses.

• Price both commercial and personal products from a Mutual’s perspective and monitor the impact of changes you made.

• Experience in end-to-end price review and exposure to reinsurance, expense allocation, underwriting consideration and much more!

Role Purpose

To support the Pricing Manager with the review, analysis and advice on the performance of Capricorn Mutual’s (CML) portfolios to maximise growth and surplus targets, including maintaining adequate rate strength across each line of business.

Skills, Knowledge and Attributes

• Strong analytical and research skills.

• Proficient in the use of technical database and reporting applications (SQL/SAS and Tableau preferred).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to solve complex problems.

• Business acumen to identify and understand pricing risks

• Ability to read, understand and analyse insurance policy wordings.

• Knowledge of reinsurance arrangements.

Experience

• Experience working in insurance industry will be highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Degree in actuarial studies, data, statistics or any other related field
