Job Description

We have a newly created opportunity available as a Pricing Automation Manager. This role is a 12-month fixed term contract within our Wealth Management and New Business Pricing team where you play a lead role in transforming the pricing delivery and commercial management of the Group Life business.

We are looking for someone with strong actuarial and coding skills who can help design, deliver and measure the automation and efficiency of the pricing process.

In this role you will: 

  • Redesign more efficient and robust pricing management processes
  • Develop automation plan and milestones for tracking performance
  • Documenting processes, frameworks, and automation policies
  • Strengthen governance and risk management processes
  • Develop business performance opportunities to track to return on investment criteria
  • Redesign more efficient and robust pricing governance and CPS 320 process and reports
  • Identify opportunities to proactively reduce risk
  • Drive automation and efficiency with good risk practice

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience using R to develop and automate processes
  • Proven, consulting, automation, and process optimisation capability
  • Understanding of group pricing process and actuarial concepts
  • Sound communication skills both written and verbal
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering quality outcomes on multiple tasks and projects within budget and planned timeframes
  • Proven track record of delivery and managing others to successful delivery
