The Role

We're looking for a commercially minded Pricing Strategy & Insights Lead to play a pivotal role in driving pricing excellence, delivering commercial insights, and supporting profitable growth across Australia and New Zealand.

This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical and strategic professional who thrives at the intersection of pricing, commercial strategy, finance, and data. Working closely with Corporate Accounts, Network Sales, Finance, and Commercial teams, you'll help optimize pricing decisions, strengthen governance, and uncover opportunities to improve profitability and customer outcomes.

About You

You are naturally curious, commercially savvy, and passionate about using data to influence business decisions. You enjoy solving complex problems, finding opportunities, and partnering with collaborators to deliver outcomes.

You bring a balance of analytical capability and business acumen, allowing you to translate data into meaningful commercial recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Support Corporate Accounts and Network Sales teams in developing and refining customer-specific pricing and commercial strategies across ANZ

  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve commercial decision-making, identify pricing opportunities, and support profitable growth

  • Analyze pricing performance to identify price leakage, pricing exceptions, contract extensions, and margin improvement opportunities

  • Lead annual list price reviews, evaluating customer, market, and margin impacts to support pricing recommendations

  • Partner with key stakeholders to support tenders, contract renewals, proposals, and strategic commercial opportunities

  • Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and P&L assessments to support pricing and business decisions

  • Drive pricing governance, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business

  • Collaborate with Commercial Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Service, and Sales teams to ensure pricing decisions align with business objectives

  • Leverage reporting tools and business systems to improve pricing accuracy, governance, and visibility

  • Support cross-functional pricing activities across multiple product portfolios as required.

Key Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related discipline

  • Postgraduate qualifications or relevant professional certifications will be highly regarded

  • Experience in pricing, commercial strategy, commercial finance, revenue management, or a related analytical function

  • Strong financial modelling, business case development, and P&L analysis capability

  • Experience supporting tenders, pricing reviews, and complex commercial proposals

  • Exposure to pricing governance, process improvement, and commercial performance reporting

  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex insights

  • Strong systems capability with experience using reporting, analytics, and business intelligence tools

  • Experience with Cognos BI, TM1, Power BI, or similar reporting platforms will be advantageous

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage digital and AI-enabled tools to improve decision-making and efficiency.
